Long Weekend
In about 12 hours my family and I will be departing from Freddy Town en route for Southern Maine for the weekend. We are driving to Kittery tomorrow, with a short stop in Freeport, and staying the night in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. On Sunday we are going to Rockport, ME to spend 2 days at Samoset Resort with the lovely Smith family (Liz Brewer's parents & brother). I'm pretty excited about it! I'm due for some good shopping!! haha And it'll be fun to spend a few days at Samoset, I just hope the weather is nice b/c every time we've ever gone there it's been foggy and rainy! Yippee for vacation...well, all I get for vacation this summer!At Beulah, Josh Harris' little sister sang a song for a special and I loved it. She did an awesome job too! Ever since then I've been trying to figure out who sings it and what it's called. Well, I finally heard it on our Christian Radio Station today, JoyFM, and went on a search online today. I discovered that it's called "Awaken" by Natalie Grant. It's an awesome song, with lyrics that are really speaking to my heart right now. I leave you with those words and until I return from Maine....have a great long weekend all of you who get one! :)
