Emily Elizabeth
Friday night I had the priviledge of spending a couple of hours playing with Emily Brewer while Mark and Liz were at Brent and Melanie's wedding rehersal dinner. I have to say that this little princess is the most precious little girl I have ever known! She blesses my heart each and every time I see her. One of my favorite things is the fact that she calls me "AH-MEE" and asks her parents about me all the time. I don't think there is anything that warms the heart more than knowing you are loved by a small child and hearing them say your name. We played with blocks, drew pictures, played with baby dolls and a shopping cart, sang "The Wheels On the Bus" and "If You're Happy & You Know It," shared supper, and watched "The Doughnut Man." We had a blast together!! I am so looking forward to spending time with this little treasure and making up for lost time that I've missed while living away going to school with this beautiful (& growing :) ) little family! I love you Brewer family! :)

Sheesh, my wife is such a cry baby. I, on the other hand, always keep it together. But we do love you, Ah-Me!! Thanks for being our impromptu babysitter!
It is still quite recent that Emily has stopped calling me "Auntie." Consider yourself blessed - I do.
