He's Risen!
Thank You for the cross, Jesus! 
"Why are you looking in a tomb for someone who is alive? He isn't here! He has risen from the dead!"
~Luke 24:5b-6a
How amazing is our God that He would give up His own life in order to save ours. How unworthy am I of that sacrifice. As I watched "The Passion" today, I was so vividly reminded of the incredible price He paid for us. It's so difficult to fully comprehend how God can love us so much that He would chose to send His very own son to die for us.
My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine
for thee all the follies of sin I resign.
My gracious Redeemer, my Saviour art thou
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus 'tis now.
I love thee because thou hast first loved me
and purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree
I love thee for wearing the thorns on thy brow
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus 'tis now.
In mansions of glory and endless delight
I'll ever adore thee in heaven so bright
I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow
if ever I loved thee, my Jesus 'tis now.
