Good Weekend
Well, this weekend was great. Saturday morning my parents came up. They brought with them our vaccum (aka "The Monster", my cats are deathly afraid of it!) and we gave my rug a good cleanin' as it was over due. My little dirt devil just isn't cutting it anymore! In the afternoon Mom and I went to the mall where we stumbled across an excellent little sale at Bath and Body works. Their body sprays were on for $5 and their hand soaps 3 for $10. I got 3 new body sprays (Black Raspberry Vanilla, Brown Sugar & Fig, and Coconut Lime Verbena) and 2 soaps. Yay! Saturday night Mom, Dad, and I went to church here at PI Wesleyan and the "new" Pursuing 7 was leading worship. Mike Chapman, Drew Wallace, Dana Budovitch, Candace Kavanaugh, and Kaylen Sound chick! :). They were awesome, especially for it only being their second week out. It was soo great to see them! Then we went shopping at Walmart where I bought "Sleepless in Seattle" and "Notting Hill" to help deal with my Gilmore Girls obsession. Although, I went to price their Season DVD sets and the majority of them were between $21 and $35. But no, not Gilmore Girls. Freakin' like $43.00!!! That's the same price as at home!!! Grrrrr!Sunday morning we got up and drove down to Houlton Wesleyan for church. I got to see my cousins, Dave, Vicki and Victoria, whom I haven't seen in a while. Also, Chris and Rachel Wilson and the Lord's. It was a good visit with all. :) On our way back to PI we stopped in Monticello to see Roberto and Jeremiah. We got to see their sanctuary renovations, which I just got so excited over that I lost my shoe on the way up the stairs! haha It felt very much like a Cinderella type moment! (Lacking of course the being chased by Prince Charming) lol Anyway, the sanctuary looks amazing, like a completely new church! Good job boys! And good job Marcia for the Marilyn Monroe carpet! :P
Well, all in all it was a great weekend with friends and family. If only it didn't end with studying for a science exam. Blah! Can't wait til the week is over. 5 more days til Spring Break!!! Yipee!!!
