Summer Love
Wow, the summer seems to be flying by all of the sudden!! It has been a great summer for me filled with time spent with friend's and enjoying LOTS of summer reading. I plunged into the Harry Potter series on the begging and pleading of a few close friend's of mine and thinking that I really just wouldn't enjoy reading a silly series about a wizard, I reluctantly began the journey. OH MY WORD................I was absolutely SHOCKED at how much I LOVE Harry Potter!! I couldn't put them down! They were A-MAZING! However, I'm quite certain my children won't be reading them until at least Middle School age because they were surprisingly quite scary when you look at it from a child's point of view. I really think they would have terrified me if I'd read them in elementary school. I'm pretty sure you will never hear of me reading them to an elementary class because I would be afraid of frightening some of them. However, I still would strongly recommend them! They are awesome! She is such a great writer, really draws you into the story and she has an awesome ability to draw you into the characters as well. READ THEM!!!! You won't regret it! :)
