March Break Fun!!

March Break has come to an end for another year but I must say it was a great one. It was filled with random movies, games of crainium, slumber parties, staying up til the sun comes up catching up with old friends and deeping new friendships, road trips, blizzard's at DQ, skating in the freezing cold, a sliding party at youth group, being mauled by 3 boxers and a bulldog, shopping, and much more. I am used to having very structured breaks with everything planned out, for example Chorale Tour. However, this year it was great to spend it sleeping in and just hanging out with friends. Here are some of the tales from my adventures.....

Me, Nathalie Estey, Jeff Ingersoll, Emily Woodworth, & Shea Guptill on our random adventure to Beulah Camp on Tuesday. It was freezing cold but we had a blast. It is very beautiful and peaceful down there in the winter.

Natts & I in the car on the way home from Beulah

Me, Harry the English Bulldog, and Brother Grant at my Dad's Aunt's house in Upper Musquodoboit, NS where we stopped on our way to Halifax Thursday. Harry is the first bulldog I've ever met and he's sooo funny! Super short and wide with a hilarious personality! I loved him!

Me being mauled by Jazz and T-Bo (the Boxers) while Harry looks on at my Dad's Aunt Leola's house. She has two boxers, T-Bo and Chloe (she's in her cage) and her daughter has the other boxer, Jazz, and Harry the bulldog. They were soooo hyper but so much fun to play with. Jazz (the one in the middle) had just licked my face!

Sarah Wiedmaier and I in the parking lot of Applebee's. We spent Thursday night til Sunday afternoon in Halifax, NS visiting the Brown's and shopping. My dad had to work down there on Friday so we made a weekend out of it. It was so nice to spend some time visiting and catching up with Sarah and Ryan. I spent two nights at their apartment enjoying Ryan's GREAT cooking! Sarah and I also stayed up til 5:30am watching a movie and talking one night.

Sarah & Ryan Wiedmaier, Me, & Grant in the parking lot of Applebee's. Saying goodbye as we were leaving Sunday. Ryan was striking some strange pose in the background there! haha Yay, friends!! (Can you believe I'm actually wearing quite high heels in this pic?!)

What a marvelous March Break! I didn't want it to end. I had SUCH a great time hanging out with friend's. Sure I'm super tired after many late nights (and a few all-nighters!), bruised and sore from falling down the stairs at Emily's Monday afternoon and the sliding races we had at youth group Wednesday, and broke after shopping in Halifax but I praise the Lord for great friend's and time off of work to enjoy them! :) I just wish the time change hadn't been this weekend.........

I love Beulah in the winter. Beautiful and serene! We try to escape there at least twice during the cold snowy months to bunker down in the house, put a fire on, and catch up on our reading! (and play in the snow)
